Cherokee Nation Announces It's Working On Animated Series Entirely In Cherokee Language

The Cherokee Nation announced it is helping out on an animated series that would be entirely in the Cherokee Language.

The show's title means "In the Woods" in English, and the Cherokee Nation produced it alongside the Oklahoma Film And Music Office as well as an independent film company.

The Tribe said it will help keep its language alive and serve as a teaching tool for people who are learning to speak Cherokee.
