Driver Killed In Head-On Crash Near Pine And MLK, Tulsa Police Say

Tulsa Police said a woman is dead after a crash near Pine and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Police said they responded to a crash involving two vehicles around 9 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses told police that a female driving a green Buick was speeding southbound on MLK blvd. when she drifted into the northbound lane and crashed into a maroon Ford Edge.

Police said Tulsa Firefighters were called to the scene to free the driver of the Buick.

She was transported to the hospital where she alter died, authorities said.

The victims name has not been released.

Police said the driver of the Ford was also taken to the hospital. There is no word on the extent of their injuries.
