2 Arrested In Connection With Deadly NE OKC Shooting

Two people were arrested Sunday night after a deadly shooting in northeast Oklahoma City.

Cori Gay, 22, and Marlon Craft, 42, were arrested in connection with a shooting at northeast Oklahoma City convenience store.

Police were called shortly before 11:30 p.m. Sunday to the 1200 block of NE 23rd Street.

When officers arrived, they found two people injured. A male victim and a female victim were taken to the hospital. The male victim died at the hospital and the female victim is still hospitalized, police said.

Both victims' identifications have not been released due to pending next of kin notifications being made.

Investigators said a confrontation happened at the store and the male victim was shot. During the shooting, the female victim was also shot, police said.

Both Gay and Craft were arrested a short time later by police. They were booked into the Oklahoma County jail on murder complaints.
