Teacher Of The Day: La'Mar Burks

Our Teacher of the Day is La'Mar Burks.

Burks retired from Tulsa Public Schools where he worked for more than 30 years as both a teacher and and a coach.

Burks helped create a Hall of Fame at Booker T. Washington High School's historical building back in 2011.

His nominator said Burks has given a lot of his time and heart to the community and to the kids.
