Edmond Police Release Video, 911 Calls Of Chase Involving Teen Girl

A Tuesday pursuit and search in Edmond culminated in Lake Arcadia with the arrest of a 16-year-old girl.

It all began near 2nd Street and Interstate 35, where officers tried to pull over the suspect for speeding.

According to reports, the suspect took off, going south on I-35 at high speeds.

The pursuit eventually exited the highway into Carl Reherman Park, where the suspect hit an embankment and took off on foot.

Police used the assistance of a helicopter and K-9 officers to try to locate the suspect.

Eventually, a 911 call from a homeowner helped authorities locate the teen.

She was arrested and taken to the Barry House.

Officers said the girl faces multiple charges.
