Norman Public Schools announced Friday that students will return to remote learning schedules beginning Monday.
According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health, Cleveland County is currently listed as a county with a moderate risk for contracting COVID-19.
The district cited the county's moderate risk level as its reasoning for instructing its elementary, middle and high school students to resume remote learning early next week.
Cleveland County has been categorized as a county with a moderate COVID-19 risk for the second week in a row.
