Westmoore High School To Quarantine 200 Students, Staff After COVID-19 Exposure

About 200 students and staff will quarantine after an exposure at Westmoore High School, Moore Public Schools said Tuesday.

The parents and guardians of Westmoore High School football team were sent a letter Monday. The school is halting the football program until Oct. 1.

About 48 student-athletes and coaches were placed in quarantine due to close contact, according to the letter sent on Monday.

Through contact tracing, the school determined a total of approximately 200 students and staff at the school will have to quarantine, the school district spokeswoman said.
