Teacher Of The Day: Dr. Chris Hamel

Thursday's teacher of the day is Dr. Chris Hamel.

Dr. Hamel has been teaching honors history at Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City for more than 10 years.

He's also a Marine Corps veteran, serving as Sergeant over multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

His nominator says he's tough on his kids but that they come out stronger writers and better students than before.
