Chickasha Public Schools, on behalf of Chickasha High School, announced Friday that the Fighting Chicks varsity football team's next two games have been canceled due to COVID-19.

The canceled varsity games are Friday night's tilt at home against Weatherford and next Friday's matchup at Clinton. Middle school and junior varsity games involving Chickasha schools are also off the table.

The district admitted that there are positive COVID-19 tests within the program as well as coaches that are actively in quarantine but did not disclose any additional information.
