1 In Custody After Woman Found Dead In Spencer

A woman was found dead Wednesday morning in Spencer, Oklahoma County deputies said.

According to authorities, officers responded to medical call around 2 a.m. at a home near Northeast 50th Street and North Post Road. When officer arrived on the scene, they found the body of a 34-year-old woman inside the home. The woman was identified as Shawntae Lynn Brown.

Deputies said a 34-year-old man and three children were also inside the home.

The man, who was identified as Joshua Christian Brown, was taken into custody.

A sheriff's office spokesman said the Oklahoma medical examiner's office will determine the victim's cause of death.
