OKCPS Releases Return To Campus Update

The Oklahoma City Public Schools District announced a return to campus plan Wednesday following changes due to Oklahoma County entering Orange Level 2 on the state’s COVID-19 Alert System.

In a release, OKCPS Superintendent Dr. Sean McDaniel said high school athletics and extracurricular activities will resume Monday, October 5.

If the county returns to Orange Level 1 pre-K and kindergarten students will begin in-person instruction on an A/B schedule beginning October 19.

All district staff and students with special education needs will also return for in-person instruction on October 19.
