This year, Bartlesville High School got creative for its homecoming parade.
Students and staff put on a reverse parade Thursday evening. The parade is usually downtown, but this year, families were able to drive through the parking lot at the high school to see all the floats, instead of the other way around. The floats were put together by various student organizations.
“We’ve been able to do things like this and have a pretty normal homecoming week,” Assistant Principal Michael Harp said. “It looks different, but at least our students are getting involved and we’ve had a great week.”
Bartlesville will play its homecoming game Friday night against Booker T. Washington.
