Emergency crews are the scene of an accident that occurred around 6 a.m. on Monday involving a cyclist and a vehicle on eastbound State Highway 51 just west of Highway 97. Authorities have not yet identified the individuals involved in the accident however according to police the cyclist was taken to the hospital.
