A Texas woman is in the Idabel City jail, accused of murdering a pregnant woman, and stealing her baby by cutting the infant out of her womb.

On October 9, the accused suspect, 27-year-old Taylor Parker, was pulled over by a trooper near McCurtain County for speeding.

Parker allegedly told the Texas State Trooper she just had the baby, but the infant wasn’t breathing.

At that point, she and the baby were transported by ambulance to the hospital in McCurtain County.

Doctors realized something was wrong and contacted law enforcement.

Agents at the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation report the suspect cut the baby out of her mother and tried to claim the child was her own.

The baby was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

"The OSBI was requested by the Idabel Police Department to assist with an investigation that involved a young woman showing up at McCurtian Memorial Hospital with a newborn baby that she said she had just had on the side of the road in Texas," said Brook Arbeitman, with OSBI.

Agents said they were later made aware of a homicide investigation out of New Boston, Texas.

Family reported finding 21-year-old Reagan Simmons-Hancock murdered.

Before her death, Reagan posted on Facebook that she was due November 10.
