Norman Police Investigate Fatal Collision Involving Pedestrian

One person is dead after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday night in Norman, police said.

According to authorities, the accident occurred at 36th Avenue Northwest and Pioneer Street.

Police shut down 36th Avenue between Indian Hills Road and Franklin road, but the lanes are back open.
