The Rogers County Election Board has made it easier for people with disabilities to vote on Election Day.

They created special handicap signs with doorbells on them. On Tuesday, voters can push the doorbell and someone from their polling place will come out to them.

“Those who are handicap and can’t get out of the car or compromised, we provide this service that we will come to them to allow them to vote,” Election Board Secretary Julie Dermody said.

All 36 voting precincts in Rogers Count will have the doorbells. They were able to purchase the doorbells with grant money.
