Republicans and Democrats from all over Green Country gathered at separate locations to watch the results of the 2020 election come in.

Days after thousands packed ONEOK Field in Downtown Tulsa for early voting, about 50 people gathered there once again on Tuesday night for the Democratic Watch Party.

Democrats in attendance said they were not surprised by the local result and were still hopeful for Democratic wins in other states.

According to organizers, the crowd was smaller than anticipated, but still energized to make noise each time a new state was declared a win for Biden.

The scene was more traditional for Republicans watching at the Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center in Broken Arrow. Nearly 500 Republicans showed up. Tickets for the event had to be purchased online.

The party had not yet begun when Oklahoma called a win for President Trump, so many of the cheers came when Oklahoma Republicans took home two big wins for Congressman Kevin Hern and Senator Jim Inhofe.

A final winner has yet to be announced for the presidential race.
