OESC Sees Record Number Of Unemployment Claims In 2020

The Director of Oklahoma's Employment Security Commission said that they have processed more than 800,000 unemployment claims since March.

OESC Director Shelly Zumwalt said, "We have paid more since March than we did in the entire decade preceding."

In 2020 so far the commission has paid out more than $3 billion, compared to 2019 the commission paid out only $214 million.
