The Suntech Community Response Blood Drive will be held on Friday, Nov. 27th from Noon to 6 p.m. at Mosaic Church, located at 5821 NW Expressway. This socially-distanced blood drive will include safety precautions such as hand sanitizing stations, spread out screening stations with extra cleaning protocols, spread out donor beds, temperatures taken upon entering church and masks will be required for all donors and staff.

All donors will receive a long-sleeved t-shirt as well as the COVID-19 antibody test.

Additionally, anyone who has had a positive COVID test and has been at least 14 days symptom-free can donate convalescent plasma. This plasma rich with COVID-19 antibodies is being used in hospitals for patients who are experiencing more severe COVID symptoms. The need for convalescent plasma is the highest it has ever been, so anyone who qualifies is encouraged to donate at this drive. The donation works very similar to a regular blood donation, it just takes a few minutes longer and there is a little extra paperwork.
