UPDATE 3:15 p.m. A winter storm watch has been issued for parts of northwest and northern Oklahoma until Thursday at noon.

Counties included in the watch are Woods, Alfalfa, Kay, Woodward, Major, Garfield and Noble counties.

Monday will start on a cool note and remain on the cool side thru the afternoon, although we could see some 60s in northwest Oklahoma.

Chances for light precipitation will develop by late day.

Tuesday looks interesting as a stronger storm and cold front will push through with warmer temps, some returning gulf moisture and storms by late afternoon and evening. Some of those could be severe with wind and hail the primary threats.

The state will be cooler Wednesday and then drying out and warm some on Thanksgiving.

Another cold front arrives as a cooler pattern will end off November. Another freeze showing Monday November 30.
