The City of Bartlesville is starting a new campaign to remind people about the following CDC guidelines.

Mayor Dale Copeland said the city is starting the campaign due to the high number of cases the city has seen.

The city will reinforce the importance of mask-wearing, hand washing, and physical distancing and the plans to use anything from billboards, magazines and even social media to get the message across.

The City of Bartlesville currently does not have a mask ordinance in place and Mayor Copeland said that he wants to give the new campaign a chance to take effect before any further decisions are made.

“Obviously, we monitor daily, sometimes hourly, the information that’s provided but we wanted to provide this campaign the chance to take effect," said Copeland. "It’s just now starting so it’s early to know what kind of impact it might have.”

The City of Bartlesville has created a webpage focused on its approach to COVID-19, to visit, Click Here.
