Authorities are searching for a suspect they said shot at multiple semi-trucks along Interstate 35 in McClain County on Thursday morning.

Authorities are searching for a suspect they said shot at multiple semi-trucks along Interstate 35 in McClain County on Thursday morning.

The McClain County Sheriff's Department said it responded to the shots fired call just before 8:30 a.m.

The unidentified man parked charcoal-colored Chrysler 300 along I-35 northbound and began firing shots at two semi-trucks, narrowly missing one of the drivers.

Witnesses said the shooter then got back in his car and continued driving northbound.

According to authorities, the suspect is described as a white male with a goatee, wearing a black hat and a black coat.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol, McClain County Sheriff's Department and the Purcell Police Department are participating in the search for the suspect.
