Former Sooner Hurts Surprises Family Of 7-Year-Old Battling Cancer With $30,000

Former OU football star Jalen Hurts is giving back to a family in the area he now calls home.

Hurts now plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.

He connected with the family of seven-year-old Erick who is battling cancer. This week, he surprised them with a big check to put toward a new home.

“I felt it’s the least that I could do. This is from me, I’m sending you all the love and blessings,” Hurts said.

Hurts learned the Pennsylvania family of seven was living in a two-bedroom trailer, so he gave them a $30,000 check.
