Governor Kevin Stitt's team plans to announce the next steps in Oklahoma's COVID-19 vaccine distribution Thursday morning.

That news conference will start at 11 a.m.

Currently, the state is in the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout which includes, but not limited to:

  1. First responders.
  2.  Health care workers with direct contact to COVID-19 patients.
  3. Adults age 65 and older.
  4. Teachers and staff in Pre-K-12 schools and educational settings.

According to the state, phase three includes other teachers, students, residents, and administrative staff in educational settings outside Pre-K through 12th grade. It also includes essential workers specified in the Governor's executive order.

Earlier this week the state health department gave individual counties the green light to adjust priority groups on a case-by-case basis.

IMMY labs also offered some vaccines to adults 18-years-old and over with other health problems.
