Oklahoma County Courthouse To Remain Closed, Other Offices Will Reopen

Oklahoma County officials said that the county courthouse will remain closed Friday after weather-related busted water pipes flooded the elevator.

Meanwhile, the county's courthouse annex, the juvenile court and social services offices will be open Friday at their normal hours.

Employees who work in the old courthouse building have been asked by the county to not report for work Friday. Court dockets at the courthouse building have been postponed.

The county said people who seek exemption from jury duty or traffic court activities will still be held on the first floor of the Courthouse Annex as expected.

The county hopes elevator operations will be fixed by Monday.
