Man Identified In Deadly Shooting At SW OKC Home

Oklahoma City police said a man is dead after a shooting Wednesday night near South Portland Avenue and Southwest 29th Street.

Police said a woman called 911 and said her boyfriend had been shot inside the residence. The woman's boyfriend has been identified as 47-year-old Sheldon Hawk.

The woman is not considered a suspect at this time.

“We believe there's just one person involved in it, but of course this is one where we do need the public's help. We have not positively identified a suspect yet,” Master Sgt Gary Knight said.

OCPD said no arrests have been made as of yet. The department is also investigating what led up to the shooting.
