Silver Alert Canceled For Missing Kay County Man

UPDATE (10:41 a.m. March 18, 2021): The Kay County Sheriff's Office and Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that 82-year-old Bernard Bryson has been located. The Silver Alert is now canceled.

The Kay County Sheriff's Office issued a Silver Alert for a missing man Thursday morning.

Bernard Bryson, 82, was last seen just around 7 p.m. Wednesday near North Pecan Road and East Gate Road in Newkirk.

Bryson was seen wearing a light blue jacket, blue jeans, black cowboy boots and a straw cowboy hat.

Authorities said Bryson also wears brownish gold glasses and has short almost gray hair. He drives a red 2011 Ford Edge with the Oklahoma license plate AKB181.
