The University of Oklahoma's basketball coach is showing his support for an Edmond boy who recently beat cancer.
Jude Starkey rang the bell last Sunday after finishing his final round of chemo.
Jude was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia back in 2018. During his fight, he's had a lot of support behind him, including the OU men's basketball team.
They're part of a group called Team IMPACT. Jude got the chance to hang out and form friendships with the players and head coach, Lon Kruger.
During March Madness Coach Kruger even auctioned off a pair of shoes with Jude's name on them, to raise money for cancer research.
He even got a shout-out on national television. Jude and his mom said they had no idea that was going to happen.
"Yeah, the shoes were a surprise, we had no idea they were even going to say that," said Jude and his mother Rhiann Starkey.
Money from the auction is going specifically to the American Cancer Society.
