Driver Hospitalized After Crash Involving Semi

The eastbound I-44 on-ramp near Lake Hefner Parkway is back open after crews closed the road due to a crash involving a semi-truck on Tuesday night.

According to Oklahoma City police, the semi-truck collided with a car just before 11 p.m.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital and there is currently no word on their condition.

Officers closed off the eastbound I-44 on-ramp near lake Hefner Parkway to investigate the scene. The road has since reopened.

Police said an investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the crash.
