After an overwhelming 7-0 win over South Alabama last week, the OSU women’s soccer team had a chance Wednesday to move into the Elite 8 of the NCAA tournament.

Standing in their way was seventh-seeded Texas A&M.

Tied after 90 minutes, the game went to overtime and then to penalty kicks. The Aggies would take the win, 4-3.

"There's not a group of kids I'd rather take this journey with and I mean that," head coach Colin Carmichael said. "I know a lot of coaches say that and I've been here a long time, but this group is special, they really are, on and off the field."
