Oklahoma County Commissioners Appoint New Member To Jail Trust

Oklahoma County commissioners officially filled the vacancy on the county jail's trust when it selected Joe Allbaugh during a Monday morning meeting.

Allbaugh formerly worked as the director of the Department of Corrections.

The position became vacant when former chair Tricia Everett left the county jail trust in April.

District 1 commissioner Carrie Blumert was the lone no vote among the commissioners.

Allbaugh is expected to be in attendance for a jail trust meeting later Monday afternoon.
