Residents in an Edmond neighborhood were shocked after a drug bust on their street.

Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics agents arrested 22-year-old Liu Chunzheng in connection with drug trafficking and an alleged international prostitution ring.

OBN and Homeland Security Investigations started tracking the criminal organization after they intercepted a shipment of drugs from China. Agents raided the Edmond home this week where the operation was based.

“My real concern is the little playground there,” said Tom Mulligan, a neighbor. “Especially when police came. There was a caravan of about nine cars.”

Mulligan watched from his backyard on Tuesday as state drug agents raided his next-door neighbor's home. They arrested Liu after a package of Ketamine was delivered to the home.

“When that package was taken into possession by someone in the home, we went ahead and served our warrant (and) found additional ketamine in the house,” said Mark Woodward, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.

Agents took pictures of the 10 pounds of ketamine powder they found stashed in fiber boards.

“That is becoming a very popular way to smuggle ketamine in from China to the U.S.,” said Woodward.

Besides the drugs, agents found evidence of international prostitution. Woodward said the illegal business was advertised and operated online.

“So, we’re investigating that potential prostitution, but seeing if any of these women are victims of human trafficking,” Woodward said.

Some neighbors were stunned knowing an alleged criminal organization was run on their street.

“They just seemed quiet over there and there was never any real activity,” said Mulligan.

Authorities said the investigation continues to unfold.

“We do anticipate there will be some more arrests and charges filed as this continues,” said Woodward.

OBN officials said the women involved in the accused prostitution were from Asia and served clients working at medical marijuana farms.
