1 Killed After Police Chase Ends In Crash In NE OKC

A police chase ended in a deadly crash Monday morning in northeast Oklahoma City.

The crash happened near NE 16th Street and Martin Luther King Avenue.

The suspect vehicle crashed into another vehicle, police said.

The driver in the other vehicle died a short time after the crash, police said.

The suspect was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators think the stolen pickup was taken from a construction site near SE 25th Street and S Central Avenue.

Police shut down the northbound lanes of Martin Luther King Avenue between NE 16th and NE 15th streets to investigate the crash.
