Veteran Salute: Dr. Harry Barnes

We are honoring the men and women who served our country. Today we want to salute Army veteran Dr. Harry Barnes.

Harry served in both World War II and the Korean War. After his service, he returned and got his degree in dentistry.

He continued his service in the Oklahoma National Guard and retired as a Brigadier General.

His nominator tells us Dr. Barnes will turn 100 years old this August and is still living actively in Ardmore.
