A metro restaurant owner is looking for answers after vandals targeted her business multiple times. Surveillance video captured the crime near Southeast 29th Street and South Sooner Road.
The video shows a man in a blue shirt walk up, throw an object into the restaurant's window and then flee the scene.
The restaurant’s owner said the business has been targeted four times since mid-April.
During the first two instances, the owner said the suspect went inside and stole several items.
"He stole two TV's, an iPad, cash register," Tasty Thai owner Lyn Detphong said.
Among the items taken include food which would have been served to customers. The owner said it has boosted security for now but believes the same person is responsible for the string of crimes.
"My staff's scared," Detphong said. "I mean every time they come to the restaurant in the morning, they said it's going to happen the next day. It's going to happen again."
The restaurant has been at this location for three years. Before the first break-in, Detphong has never had issues like these before.
"It just doesn't happen,” Detphong said. “We don't know what the guy wants.”
The Del City Police Department is now asking the public for assistance in hopes of tracking the suspect down.
Authorities said they believe he may have been driving an older model Lexus or Infinity sedan.
