Police: Decomposed Body Found In Shallow Grave In Bethany

Police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found Monday in the backyard of a home in Bethany.

The incident happened in the 6700 block of NW 31st Street near Rockwell Avenue.

Authorities said the body was found by a family member who told police the home has been in the family for years.

According to police, the body was decomposed and located inside of a shallow grave that was covered with a tarp.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents were at the scene.
