American Airlines announced a new daily nonstop service from Tulsa to Austin, Texas on Thursday.
According to Tulsa International Airport, the new service will run year-round beginning November 2, 2021.
“We’re eager to add new service from Tulsa to Austin, giving local customers another choice for their travel plans,” said Brian Znotins, American Airlines Vice President of Network Planning. “We look forward to welcoming more Tulsans back to travel with American to experience all that Austin has to offer, as well as further connecting them to our global network.”
The new addition is the 21st nonstop flight offered from TIA.
Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum said, “Nonstop flights to major markets are critical to Tulsa’s continued economic success. I want to thank American Airlines for this and other recent service additions at TUL, which provide critical air connectivity for our travelers.”
Flights will depart from Austin at 4 p.m., arriving in Tulsa at 5:31 p.m. Flights departing from Tulsa will leave at 6:06 p.m., arriving in Austin at 7:37 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Monday, June 14.
