A triple shooting left one person dead and two others injured.
It happened late Friday night outside an apartment complex near Southwest 60th Street and South Douglas Avenue.
Police were first alerted after dispatchers received a shots fired call. According to officers on scene, a large group was gathered outside the apartment moments before the shooting.
"Upon arrival, they located a deceased subject in the parking lot and two other subjects," Oklahoma City Police Department Lt. Cody Koelsch said.
The two other victims were rushed to a local hospital but were later released. Officers on scene quickly set up a perimeter by blocking off parts of the street. No gunman was found.
"As of right now, there is no suspect information whatsoever," OCPD Capt. Jermaine Johnson said. "This is a fresh investigation. We're still interviewing subjects."
One neighbor said he was working inside his garage when he heard the gunshots. He then spotted someone jump into a vehicle close by to flee the area.
Authorities are still working to find a motive behind the shooting.
Other neighbors said this isn't the first time something like this has happened. They hear gunfire coming from this complex at least once a week. They said it can be a scary experience.
