Many Oklahomans who were having problems with their Way2Go debit cards are receiving funds again, OESC said.
"OESC completed review of a number of Way2Go cards that had been suspended and reinstated them last night. Claimants with those accounts should be able to access their cards/funds now. Claimants should check their cards access before visiting a local office," said Shelley Zumwalt, OESC executive director.
On Monday, the OESC brought in extra staff to help hundreds of frustrated people looking for answers on why their Way2Go cash assistance debits cards were disabled.
The OESC said it affected around 20% of claimants statewide, with most of the accounts being frozen on Friday.
The OESC said some pandemic unemployment assistance payments were also delayed on Monday. The agency said that money was processed overnight and should start showing up in claimants accounts on Tuesday morning.
