Counselors will be available at Deer Creek High School following the tragic death of recent graduate Toyin Amuda this week.
They will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and again from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
Amuda was a homecoming king at Deer Creek who also planned to attend OU this fall.
"We strongly encourage anyone who needs help or support to visit with one of the available counselors,” Deer Creek High School principal Mark Phillips said in a statement. “If you need additional support, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Please keep the family and our school community in your thoughts and prayers.”
