Part of I-35 Shutdown After Crash Damages Overhead Sign

An overhead sign on I-35 needs repairs after a crash overnight. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has closed that road while the repairs are being made.

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Part of Southbound I-35 will be closed Saturday afternoon while crews repair an overhead sign that was damaged in an earlier crash.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says traffic is diverted to the service road at Wilshire Blvd and drivers can expect lengthy delays. ODOT is encouraging drivers to find an alternate route, such as I-235 or the Kickapoo Turnpike to go south.
