1 Dead Following Overnight Shooting In Northwest OKC

A woman was killed in a shooting at a northwest Oklahoma City park, police said.

Police were called shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday in reference to shots fired at the Rotary Park North park near Carroll Cornett Drive and NW 56th Terrace.

When officers arrived, they found Cierra Monique Abbott, 22, dead inside a vehicle.

So far, no arrests have been made.

Abbott's death is the 45th homicide in Oklahoma City.
