Governor Stitt Set To Announce New State Attorney General

Governor Kevin Stitt's office said it will announce a new state attorney general Friday morning.

The announcement is expected to take place at 11 a.m. at Williams Center Green in Tulsa.

It has been a two-month search for a new attorney general after Mike Hunter stepped down in late May, following an extramarital affair with another state employee.

Following the announcement, the governor’s office said there will officially be a swearing in ceremony at 2:30 p.m.
