Maysville Man Arrested After 6-Hour Standoff In Garvin County

A Maysville man is behind bars after he barricaded himself in his home for more than 6-hours late Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

According to police, two other people were inside the home. One of the women said she was being held there against her will.

Shannon David Mason was being served a warrant for domestic assault and battery by strangulation when the standoff started.

Police said, after entering the home they found narcotics.

Mason was taken to the Garvin County jail.

Mason is facing felony charges for assault and battery against a Native American woman.
