A man is charged with kidnapping after forcing a woman into a car and driving off with her, according to Oklahoma County Police Officials.
23-year-old Andrew Williams is charged with kidnapping, domestic assault and battery, conspiring to perform and act of violence, and degree robbery.
At about noon on Sunday, police said Williams showed up to the victim’s workplace and forced her into a vehicle before driving off. Co-workers called the police.
Officials say they were able to ping Williams’ phone and track him during the two-hour search. At one point, police say he ditched the car and took a relative’s car to continue driving around with the victim.
Police made contact with Williams and he surrendered peacefully near NE 16th Street and Lottie Ave.
The victim is unharmed.
Williams booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
