A 16-year-old is accused of killing two people in a shooting in southwest Oklahoma City, police said.
Gustavo Peralta, 16, was arrested Saturday after a shooting in the 2700 block of SW 49th Street.
Police were called shortly after 3:45 p.m. Saturday in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived, they found 16-year-old Ramon Sosa dead in the residence.
Someone told police the shooting suspect drove away and was being followed by a family member.
Officers located the suspect vehicle near SW 5th and May Avenue and the shooting suspect ran away.
Angela Sosa, 52, was found dead inside the vehicle, police said. Angela Sosa was Ramon Sosa's grandmother.
The shooting suspect was found in the Oklahoma River. He was completely submerged except for his nose and mouth. A K-9 unit assisted in the suspect's arrest.
Police identified the suspect as Peralta and he was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on two complaints of first-degree murder.
