Supt. Hofmeister Wants Bill Banning Mask Mandates In School Districts Repealed

Oklahoma City Public School students returned to the classroom Monday.

The district is encouraging students to wear masks, but they are optional.

That's because Senate Bill 658 bans districts from implementing mask mandates.

State Superintendent of Instruction Joy Hofmeister said she wants it repealed.
