Cherokee Nation, Spartan College Partner To Offer Cherokee Citizens Aviation Education

Spartan College of Aeronautics and Aviation and the Cherokee Nation announced have announced a historic agreement.

The two will partner to provide Cherokee Nation citizens opportunities to attend the college to become pilots or technicians.

Spartan College's CEO said they have plans to work with Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah to introduce Cherokee students to aviation careers.

The agreement was signed in Tahlequah on Thursday, which was National Aviation Day.
