Oklahoma Department Of Public Safety Commissioner John Scully Announces Retirement

The Oklahoma DPS Commissioner John Scully announced his retirement on Tuesday after serving as the 20th Commissioner of the DPS since September 2019.

Scully was the Deputy Chief of the Oklahoma City Police Department the 8 years before becoming commissioner and he worked with the department for 32 years.

Commissioner Scully's last day will be September 10, and he says he plans to spend more time with his family and his newborn grandchild in retirement.
