Police Investigate After 1 Was Injured In SW OKC Shooting

Police are investigating a robbery turned shooting in southwest Oklahoma City.

The incident was reported Wednesday in the 1500 block of S Western Avenue near the Wheeler Park area.

One person was injured when the robbery turned violent.

Police said the victim is experiencing homelessness and is expected to survive.

Officers are searching for the shooter who left the scene in a vehicle.
